AeroShell Aerobatics Planes Land at Twin County Airport
On October 6, 2006, an exciting event took place at our local airport. The worldfamous AeroShell Aerobatics Team, in route to Dover, Delaware for an air show, had to land here because of the inclement weather. The team consists of four pilots flying formation aerobatics in the World War II North American Advanced Trainer the T-6. The pilots are Alan and Mark Henley (brothers); Steve Gustafson and Gene McNeely.
These ace pilots spent the night in the area and proceeded to their destination on Saturday, Oct. 7.
