Airport Commission Meeting Notice
The Twin County Airport Commission meets on the fourth Thursday of each month. The next scheduled meeting is Jan 26, 2012.
All meetings are held at 6:30 pm in the terminal building at the airport.
These meetings, as always, are open to the public.
On January 27, 2011, an Army Chinook helicopter made a stopover at Twin County Airport en route from Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland to Reno, Nevada. The crew stayed overnight in one of our local motels, and was delayed in taking off the next morning because of bad weather. They finally were able to leave around 10:30 am. Here are a few pictures of the helicopter, as well as a couple of videos that were taken.
